Director of Operations – Food & Beverage ( Cafe, Fine Dining, Restaurants )

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee the overall operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring profitability, high service standards, operational efficiency, and strong team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets.
• Ensure smooth functioning of kitchen, service, and support teams.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and customer service.
• Monitor SOP implementation across all branches.

Financial Performance

• Manage budgets, cost control, and profitability.
• Analyze sales reports and operational KPIs.
• Control food cost, labor cost, and operational expenses.
• Drive revenue growth and improve margins.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage outlet managers and department heads.
• Ensure proper staffing, training, and performance management.
• Build a positive and performance-driven culture.

Business Development

• Identify opportunities for expansion and new concepts.
• Work closely with marketing to increase brand visibility and sales.
• Improve customer experience and retention strategies.

Compliance & Quality Control

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and municipality regulations.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve escalated issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Proven experience as F&B Manager managing multiple outlets, including cafés, casual dining, and fine dining restaurants.
• Strong sales-driven mindset with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Proven expertise in financial aspects, including budgeting, costing, and reporting, is mandatory.
