Director of Procurement

Job Title: Director, Procurement

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Jeddah

Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process within the organization. This includes developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing of goods and services to support the organization’s operations and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s procurement strategy to align with overall business goals.
• Lead and manage all procurement activities including planning, budgeting, sourcing, and contract management.
• Negotiate high-value contracts and manage supplier relationships to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with local content requirements and provide accurate reporting to relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.
• Represent the company in meetings, forums, and professional events with vendors and partners.
• Build and lead a high-performing procurement team and promote continuous improvement.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10–12 years of progressive experience in procurement with increasing managerial responsibilities.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
