About Pearl

Pearl is transforming dentistry through artificial intelligence. Our FDA-cleared AI platform powers dental practices, labs, and insurers worldwide — helping clinicians diagnose more accurately, operate more efficiently, and deliver better care. With a $500B global market and over a million dental practices to serve, we’re just getting started.

Who We’re Looking For

Pearl is growing rapidly, fueled by strong product-market fit and global adoption of our AI platform. With 200+ employees and technology trusted by tens of thousands of dental professionals, we’re entering an exciting new phase of expansion. We’re hiring a Director of Product Marketing to build and lead this function — shaping how our products are positioned, launched, and adopted globally. Pearl is now crossing the chasm — scaling from early adopters to mainstream adoption — and this leader will play a pivotal role in translating innovation into broad market impact and ensuring the whole product experience delivers measurable value across the industry.

This role partners closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to define the strategy and story behind Pearl’s innovation. The ideal candidate combines strategic depth with a hands-on approach and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. For the right person, this opportunity offers significant scope for impact and long-term leadership growth.

Key Responsibilities

Market Intelligence & Positioning

  • Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable product and marketing strategies.
  • Partner with our Product and Customer Success teams to conduct ongoing customer research — interviews, surveys, and usage analysis — to uncover needs, pain points, and opportunities that inform product direction and messaging.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer segments, buyer personas, ideal client profiles, and market trends to inform roadmap and go-to-market decisions.
  • Define bold, differentiated positioning and messaging that bring Pearl’s innovations to life.

Product Partnership & Go-to-Market Execution

  • Operate as an embedded partner to the Product team — a trusted collaborator from ideation through launch, ensuring every product decision is grounded in customer and market insight.
  • Collaborate closely with Product leadership to influence roadmap prioritization, validate market needs, and ensure each release resonates with target users.
  • Work in close partnership with the Revenue Leadership team to align product launches, messaging, and enablement with sales and channel strategies.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and partnerships — connecting customer needs to commercial outcomes.
  • Build and execute launch plans with measurable success metrics, from awareness to adoption and retention.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Serve as the connective tissue across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on strategy, messaging, and execution.
  • Reporting within the Product organization, this role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to bring Pearl’s innovations to market.
  • Collaborate closely with the Revenue Leadership team to ensure product positioning, enablement, and GTM initiatives drive commercial success.
  • Partner with Sales to refine product narratives, demos, and positioning based on customer feedback.
  • Ensure customer insights flow continuously between go-to-market and product development teams to inform roadmap and market priorities.

Sales Enablement & Market Awareness

  • Drive global sales enablement strategy — defining the narratives, frameworks, and tools that empower sales and partner teams to articulate Pearl’s value across all segments.
  • Equip revenue teams with clear, differentiated messaging and competitive positioning to accelerate deal velocity and improve win rates.
  • Partner with the broader Marketing organization to align content strategy, campaigns, PR, and paid media with go-to-market priorities and product launches.
  • Actively engage in product marketing communities and industry groups, including those connected to key investors, to stay ahead of best practices and elevate Pearl’s presence among thought leaders.

Measurement & Leadership

  • Define and track key performance indicators that connect product marketing impact to company growth — including Net New ARR, Net Dollar Retention, customer lifecycle value, product adoption rates, feature engagement, and win/loss trends — to inform strategy and executive decision-making.
  • Establish and lead the product marketing function, building cross-functional influence and best practices across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to strengthen Pearl’s go-to-market execution as the company continues to scale globally.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, healthcare technology, or AI-driven software.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies and launches.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills — able to distill complex technology into compelling, customer-centric narratives.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing in high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities; data-driven mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or dental technology is a plus.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Builder mindset — energized by creating structure, clarity, and momentum from the ground up.
  • Strategic operator with the ability to execute quickly and effectively.
  • Thrives in a high-growth, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for using AI and innovation to transform healthcare.
