Director of Real Estate Development

We are seeking a highly accomplished leader to oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale, high-impact real estate projects — from land acquisition and feasibility through to delivery and handover. The Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s development strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring projects achieve both commercial success and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute development strategies aligned with the company’s long-term investment vision.
• Lead and manage high-value development projects to maximize profitability and stakeholder value.
• Oversee feasibility studies, market assessments, and business case preparation for new opportunities.
• Translate concepts into commercially viable, innovative real estate products.
• Drive planning, master scheduling, and cross-disciplinary coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Prepare and monitor development briefs, budgets, and consultant scopes of work.
• Ensure projects meet performance metrics (cost, schedule, quality, compliance), implementing corrective measures when required.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration across design, construction, finance, marketing, and legal functions.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of development professionals.
• Maintain market intelligence and competitor benchmarking to guide strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in Projects Delivery & Construction is a must .
• Master’s degree (MBA, Architecture, Finance, or Economics) is strongly preferred.
• 15–20 years of progressive experience in real estate development, including at least 6+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success leading end-to-end developments from land acquisition through handover.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, commercial structuring, and project governance.
• Proven ability to deliver landmark developments with both profitability and design excellence.
