The Role
The Director of Rooms at Red Sea Global Hospitality (RSGH) will be responsible for the oversight and management of the rooms division, ensuring the highest standards of luxury and personalized service. This role demands a dynamic leader with a proven track record in luxury hospitality, exceptional operational expertise, and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Leadership and Management

Lead, mentor, and develop the rooms division team, including front office, housekeeping, concierge, guest services, and laundry departments.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Set performance standards and goals, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
Operational Excellence

Oversee daily operations of the rooms division, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.

Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and adherence to luxury service standards.

Monitor and analyze room occupancy, rates, and financial performance, developing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.

Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas.
Guest Experience

Champion the guest experience, ensuring that every guest interaction is personalized, memorable, and exceeds expectations.

Handle and resolve guest complaints and feedback promptly and effectively, turning potential negative experiences into positive ones.

Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest journey, from pre-arrival to departure.
Financial Management

Develop and manage the rooms division budget, controlling expenses while maintaining quality and service standards.

Conduct regular financial reviews, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.

Prepare and present comprehensive reports on operational and financial performance to senior management.
Strategic Planning

Contribute to the development and execution of the hotel’s strategic plans and initiatives.

Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices, integrating them into the rooms division operations.

Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high-end clientele.
Compliance and Safety

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven experience with top luxury hotel brands.

Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial reporting.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with guests, team members, and stakeholders.

Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities with a flexible and adaptable approach.

Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Working Conditions

This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

The role is based at the Red Sea Global Hospitality resort, located in the Red Sea Region, Saudi Arabia.
