The Position

The Opportunity

As an In-field Coach and Operations Lead, you are the driving force behind our strategic and commercial success in the private and remote public markets. You are a visionary leader who guides a team of dedicated Disease Area Partners and serves as a subject matter expert in both Ophthalmology and Multiple Sclerosis, helping them achieve and exceed our most ambitious brand goals.

Your Responsibilities

1- Strategic Leadership & Market Ownership

You will lead the charge in cultivating and nurturing deep relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner in the ophthalmology and multiple sclerosis community. This role gives you direct ownership of commercial operations in the vital private sector, as well as critical remote areas of the public sector. You will be at the helm of targeted account planning, charting a course for your team to unlock new opportunities and ensure our brand objectives are met with excellence. Your insights will be essential in identifying strategic opportunities and supporting our broader disease area teams.

2- Performance & Excellence

Your mission is to elevate our competitive advantage. You will be responsible for defining and establishing field performance metrics, utilizing diagnostic tools to identify key areas of opportunity and developmental needs. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, developing and implementing innovative programs that enhance both the quality and quantity of our field activities. By anticipating the customers' needs in the assigned markets and the demands of product commercialization, you and your team will proactively determine solutions that ensure a seamless and successful market presence.

3- Cross-Functional Collaboration

You'll serve as a vital link between the assigned markets and the broader organization. You'll work closely with disease area pods to share insights, align on strategies, and ensure a cohesive approach to market challenges and opportunities. By working closely with cross-functional pods, you'll ensure that field activities are perfectly aligned with our overall brand strategy, driving success and fostering a culture of teamwork and shared purpose. Your expertise will be essential in helping the entire organization understand and respond to the evolving needs of the market.

4- People & Team Development

This role is about building and empowering a high-performing team. You will have a direct hand in selecting, mentoring, and evaluating our Disease Area Partners, ensuring every member is poised for success. You will identify and fill competency gaps with new training programs, fostering an environment where talent thrives. Your ability to guide and develop your team will be directly linked to their ability to achieve or exceed their assigned goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Who You Are

Professional Experience

  • Proven experience in a team leadership and sales management role, within the pharmaceutical industry (OPhtha is a preferred background).

  • Experience and strong understanding of Ophthalmology and/or Multiple Sclerosis disease areas within Saudi Arabia.

  • Strong background in managing commercial operations, with direct experience in both the private and public healthcare sectors.

  • Demonstrated success in leading a team to achieve or exceed commercial goals and targets.

  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic account plans and managing customer relationships.

  • Proficiency in setting performance metrics and using data analytics and diagnostic tools to drive field effectiveness.

  • Proven ability to optimize patient access and support the commercialization and launch of products in new markets.

Leadership & Coaching

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.

  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a culture of excellence.

  • Experience in identifying competency gaps and recommending targeted training and development programs.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively with different teams and departments.
