Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies when needed.
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service.
• Help with basic food handling duties under supervision to support kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper waste disposal.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures for kitchen appliances and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and cleaning protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting fellow staff members.
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus.
