Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold hygiene standards
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by regularly cleaning work areas, sinks, and equipment
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting culinary staff when needed
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service
• Manage waste disposal efficiently while adhering to recycling and sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods
• Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Basic understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items safely
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations
• Experience with catering or banquet setups is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of hospitality standards related to food service, kitchen experience, or hotel environments is advantageous
