Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing kitchen supplies when needed.
• Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all dishware and serving items are clean and ready for use.
• Follow food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of plates during busy service periods.
• Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization.
• Experience with bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude in fast-paced settings.
