Job Summary

The Dispatch In-Charge is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the dispatch of modular furniture materials and finished goods. The role ensures timely, accurate, and damage-free delivery to project sites, warehouses, or clients while maintaining proper documentation and coordination with production, stores, and transporters.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Logistics Operations

• Plan and manage daily dispatch schedules as per production completion and project timelines.
• Coordinate with production, finishing, and quality teams to ensure readiness of materials for dispatch.
• Ensure correct packing, labeling, and loading of modular furniture components.
• Supervise loading and unloading to avoid damage and shortages.
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and logistics vendors for timely delivery.

Documentation & Records

• Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as Delivery Challans, Invoices, E-way Bills, Packing Lists, and Gate Passes.
• Maintain dispatch registers and records (manual and system-based).
• Ensure compliance with GST, E-way bill, and company dispatch procedures.

Inventory & Material Control

• Coordinate with Stores for material availability and stock clearance.
• Ensure FIFO / project-wise dispatch as per instructions.
• Track dispatched material and confirm receipt at site or warehouse.
• Handle shortages, damages, and returns with proper documentation.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with project managers / site teams regarding dispatch schedules and delivery status.
• Provide daily dispatch status updates to management.
• Handle transporter issues, delays, and escalations efficiently.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure proper packing standards for modular furniture items (boards, shutters, hardware, accessories).
• Follow safety guidelines during material handling and vehicle loading.
• Ensure zero damage and minimum transit loss.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of modular furniture materials, fittings, and components.
• Understanding of cutlists, BOMs, and project-wise dispatch planning.
• Familiarity with GST, E-way Bill, and dispatch documentation.
• Good coordination, communication, and team-handling skills.
• Basic computer knowledge: MS Excel, ERP / Tally (preferred).

Qualifications

• Diploma / Graduate (Any discipline preferred)
• Additional logistics or store management knowledge is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
