Dispatch Supervisor

Job Title: FG Dispatch Supervisor
Department: Logistics / Warehouse / Dispatch

We are looking for a Dispatch Supervisor - FG (Finished Goods) who will be responsible for supervising the daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of finished goods from the warehouse to customers or branches. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of vehicle movement coordination, dispatch documentation, and team handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily FG dispatch operations.
• Plan and allocate vehicles based on priority dispatch schedules.
• Supervise loading and unloading of finished goods as per SOPs.
• Ensure accurate dispatch documentation (e.g., invoices, e-way bills, gate passes).
• Maintain proper stock records, FIFO management, and minimize dispatch errors.
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and internal departments for smooth movement.
• Monitor vehicle movements and resolve logistics bottlenecks.
• Track vehicle turnaround time and reduce demurrage costs.
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of dispatch operations and vehicle routing
• Familiar with logistics paperwork and compliance (GST/e-way bills, etc.)
• Ability to supervise and coordinate with multiple teams
• Hands-on experience in warehouse ERP or dispatch tracking software
• Problem-solving mindset, good communication and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic computer operations

Education:

• Minimum: Graduate in any stream (Preferred: B.Com, BBA, BA)
• Added advantage: Certification in Logistics/Supply Chain Management

Required Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in dispatch/logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Experience as a Supervisor or Coordinator in FG dispatch or vehicle movement is mandatory

Salary: As per industry standards
Reporting To: Dispatch/Logistics Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
