Dispatch Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatch Supervisor to join our team. The Dispatch Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the dispatch department, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of goods and services. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating drivers, managing schedules, optimizing delivery routes, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a good understanding of logistics, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily dispatching of goods and services to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, coordinating with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Monitor and adjust dispatch schedules for issues, delays, or unexpected changes.
• Manage, lead, and motivate dispatchers and drivers to meet operational goals while ensuring proper training and adherence to safety and compliance guidelines.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and offer opportunities for professional development.
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws and safety regulations, monitoring driver performance for adherence to policies and protocols.
• Address operational issues, delays, customer complaints, and vehicle breakdowns, collaborating with other departments to resolve challenges.
• Oversee fleet maintenance and assist with inventory management to ensure accurate tracking of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, delivery times, and generate reports on performance metrics like customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Enter purchase bill copies in software and also to check thoroughly the rates, quantity etc.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
