Dispatcher

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient delivery operations.

Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation data and optimize routes using Oracle Transportation Management
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to coordinate deliveries
- Utilize dispatching software such as SyteLine to assign drivers to routes
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately to update shipment information
- Monitor supply chain activities and provide timely updates on delivery statuses
- Utilize GIS tools for location tracking and mapping
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatching of vehicles for deliveries
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with drivers and customers

Qualifications
- Experience in dispatching, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment
- Familiarity with 3PL operations and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in using dispatching software like SyteLine
- Strong analytical skills to analyze transportation data and optimize routes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

• San Diego, CA 92126 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• San Diego, CA 92126: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
