About us

We are a reputable electrical contracting business seeking a dedicated professional to support our daily office operations. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. Candidates must possess customer service experience, particularly in phone interactions, and demonstrate strong general office skills. We are seeking an individual who genuinely enjoy engaging with people and possesses a caring disposition. While prior experience in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing office settings is advantageous, our primary focus is on integrity and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Must have a dedicated, interruption-free home workspace.
  • Equipped with a desktop computer, phone, and reliable internet connection to efficiently run web-based scheduling and call management software.
  • Previous call-taking experience is advantageous; strong phone etiquette is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Reliable, adaptable, team-oriented, and empathetic towards clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls promptly and with enthusiasm.
  • Maintain a positive tone, communicate clearly, and ensure follow-through on each call and task.
  • Serve as a problem solver and customer advocate to deliver exceptional customer service, collaborating with co-workers as necessary.
  • Gather essential information from calls and accurately enter data for record-keeping and customer account management.
  • Log each call taken and ensure proper tax codes are entered when creating accounts.
  • Schedule jobs and assign them to electricians based on availability and staffing.
  • Develop and maintain a personalized system for organizing daily tasks.
  • Follow up with customers after each job to ensure they receive the highest level of service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
