Dispatcher/Scheduler

Dispatcher / Scheduler Job Description: This full-time position of Scheduler / Dispatcher will be hands-on with all customers as the first point of contact. In addition, this position will provide office support in an efficient and professional manner within an office environment.

Dispatcher Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain all Service Technician’s daily schedules 5-10 days out
• Dispatch & coordinate all daily emergency service calls
• Dispatch Service Technicians for all monthly work
• Schedule return trips with customers when parts have arrived
• Keep customers appraised to scheduled work & changes
• Create service work orders for all emergency service/repair calls to dispatch
• Monitor Service Technicians day-to-day schedule progress
• Respond to customer voicemails left overnight
• Regularly review work backlog with Service & Sales Manager
• Update & maintain all work order files and surveys
• Maintain Service Technician’s evening & weekend on-call schedules
• Clear & concise communications with Management, co-workers and customers

Dispatcher Required Skills and Abilities:

• 3-5 years Dispatcher / Scheduler experience preferred
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to work self-sufficiently with little direct supervision
• Experience with QuickBooks beneficial
• A positive, team attitude
