DM/Sr Deputy Manager – Mechanical Maintenance & Projects

Job Summary:
Leads mechanical maintenance and project activities, overseeing plant reliability, equipment upgrades, and execution of capital and expansion projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical maintenance and projects department to ensure high equipment reliability.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all mechanical assets.
• Plan and execute new equipment installations, plant modification, and capacity enhancement projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, contractors, and procurement of mechanical items.
• Review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for new machinery.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and energy-saving initiatives.
• Analyze recurring maintenance issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Develop technical training plans for maintenance staff to improve skill levels and safety culture.
• Liaise with OEMs and external vendors for specialized maintenance and equipment upgrades.
• Prepare and present monthly maintenance and project progress reports to senior management.

Qualification:

• B.E. Mechanical (from a recognized university; PEC registration preferred)

Experience :

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and project execution in large-scale manufacturing.
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning, installation, and commissioning of process and utility equipment.
• Strong knowledge of rotating machinery, piping systems, pressure vessels, and fabrication standards.
