Job Description

The Ford Agency is seeking a Legal Document Support professional to join the DC office of a successful global law firm. This individual will oversee the document support team ensuring that various legal documents and templates are consistent with firm brand and have a strong presentation. This role will be a mentor and coach to the document team and will work closely with other department heads on best practices and project completion.

This role is working with the evening team and the hours are Monday-Friday 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. EST

Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage evening document team, ensuring all standards are consistently met
  • Oversee development of court filings, contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents
  • Maintain awareness of software and technology trends and best practices
  • Provide training and guidance to team
  • Coordinator across departments on processes and deadlines
Qualifications Include:
  • BA Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with legal document creation
  • Advanced knowledge of MSOffice, Adobe, and legal document creating/editing software
  • Proactive and self-directed workstyle
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
