Dog Walker and Transportation Provider

Position Type: Part-Time (M-F 9:30-3:00. As-needed to start)

Job Summary

As a Dog Walker and Transportation Provider at Pup Strut LLC, you’re the friendly face our clients trust every day. You’ll be responsible for safely transporting and walking their dogs with care, confidence, and consistency. Your calm, professional presence helps keep both dogs and clients happy.

This role calls for strong communication, punctuality, and attention to detail — as well as genuine respect for each client’s home and routine.

Transportation & Route Execution

• Follow the assigned pick-up and drop-off route with consistency and efficiency.
• Transport dogs safely using all required harnesses, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Stay up to date with schedule changes and client requests each day.
• Ensure all tracking collars and harnesses are properly secured and in working order before walking.

Pack Walk Execution

• Complete 1-hour walks with each of your two daily packs
• Refrain from headphone use or personal phone activity while walking. Phones may only be used for capturing photo/video, or essential communication with management.
• Remain proactive and alert at all times— anticipate potential challenges or risks and respond accordingly to ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs in your care.

Communication & Documentation

• Maintain clear and timely communication with management regarding anything time-sensitive or unusual.
• Follow all client instructions and clarify any ambiguous or out-of-scope requests with the manager before proceeding (e.g., we do not bathe dogs, but paw wiping can be accommodated).
• Capture photos and videos during walks and share your best content with the manager for client updates.

Additional Assignments (Optional)

These additional duties are optional and will be agreed upon mutually on a case-by-case basis at the manager’s discretion.

• Private walks
• In-home sitting
• Dog boarding (at your residence)
• Other custom requests, as offered and approved by management

Schedule & Compensation

• Regular schedule: M-F 9:00-4:00 *schedule will begin as Tues-Thurs, eventually filling out to M-F.*
• Any work outside this core schedule will be offered as optional bonus opportunities! Pay is per assignment and will be clearly communicated and agreed upon in advance
