Responsibilities

• Lead energetic walks for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, ensuring safety and engagement throughout each outing
• Observe and monitor dogs’ behavior during walks, promptly addressing any signs of distress or discomfort with proper handling techniques
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities, behaviors, and any concerns that arise during walks
• Provide exceptional customer service by building trusting relationships with pet owners and demonstrating professionalism at all times

Experience

• Prior experience in dog handling or pet sitting is highly desirable
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management
• Experience with animal care in kennels or shelters enhances your ability to handle diverse situations confidently
• Strong animal handling skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting (such as managing larger dogs) is required to perform daily duties effectively
