At Faithful Friends Pet Care LLC, we know pets are family. As a small, family-owned business serving Cary, Apex, Holly Spring and Fuquay-Varina, our mission is to provide reliable, compassionate care for every pet as if they were our own.

What You’ll Do

• Provide in-home care for dogs, cats, and other small pets while clients are away.
• Walk dogs safely and confidently (varied breeds, sizes, and energy levels).
• Feed, refresh water, administer medication (if needed), and ensure pets’ comfort.
• Maintain detailed visit reports, photos, and updates for clients.
• Build trust through consistent, compassionate, and professional care.
• Review client profiles and be prepared and ready to go for your shift.

Schedule & Hours

• Flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Must be available to work every other weekend and some holidays.
• Midday dog-walking availability (10 AM – 3 PM) preferred.
• Work is local — primarily in Cary and Apex.
• This role is perfect for someone who wants part-time, rewarding, meaningful work that fits into their lifestyle

Who You Are

• Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy — pets and people rely on you.
• Confident and calm when handling animals of all sizes.
• Friendly and professional when communicating with clients.
• Organized and punctual; you take pride in doing things right.
• Comfortable using a smartphone app for visit notes and photos.
• Have reliable transportation and live within 10 minutes of Cary., Apex and surrounding communities.

✅ Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a background check.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Must love dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, aquatics — and be comfortable cleaning up after them.
• Able to work independently and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be available for early morning shifts starting at 7AM and night shifts from 7PM-9PM. If you are not available for these times then please DO NOT APPLY!
