Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and manage Building Information Models (BIM) for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines in accordance with the approved BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company standards.
- Coordinate BIM data and design inputs from consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure fully integrated and clash-free models.
- Prepare detailed 3D models, construction drawings, and shop drawings for design review, tendering, and construction purposes.
- Implement and update BIM models to reflect design revisions, RFIs, site changes, and as-built conditions.
- Generate accurate 2D drawings, material take-offs, and quantity schedules directly from BIM models to support project documentation and cost control.
- Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks or equivalent tools, and assist in resolving identified conflicts.
- Ensure adherence to BIM modeling standards, templates, and workflows, maintaining data integrity and model consistency.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, planners, and site teams to ensure coordination between various disciplines.
- Support digital project delivery, automation, and visualization initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement of BIM processes.
- Maintain organized digital archives, file naming conventions, and version control for all BIM-related deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in BIM modeling, coordination, or drafting (GCC experience preferred).
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; working knowledge of Navisworks, Dynamo, or BIM 360 is an advantage.
- Understanding of BIM Level of Development (LOD), coordination protocols, and information exchange standards (IFC, COBie, etc.).
- Strong technical and visualization skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary design and site teams.
- Knowledge of local authority submission standards and BIM compliance requirements in Bahrain or the GCC region is desirable.
