Job Title: Drilling Foreman

Job Overview

The Drilling Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating gas well completion operations in onshore fields. This role ensures that all activities including hydraulic fracturing, perforation, stimulation, and flowback are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements. The foreman will act as the primary liaison between field personnel, contractors, and production teams to maintain smooth operations and optimal well performance.

Requirements

• Experience candidates (+2 years of experience)
• Experience in well completion engineering or drilling operations.
• Strong knowledge of well control, well completion engineering, and HSE best practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve operational challenges efficiently.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities Operational Supervision & Execution

• Lead and oversee all gas well completion operations such as hydraulic fracturing, acid stimulation, perforation, and flowback activities.
• Ensure adherence to engineering designs, standards, and best practices.
• Supervise well interventions and production optimization operations.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maximize well performance.

Safety, Compliance & Quality Control

• Enforce safety policies, operational guidelines, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety briefings, job safety analyses, and risk assessments.
• Implement H2S safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE and emergency response procedures.
• Ensure compliance with well integrity and reliability standards.

Contractor & Crew Management

• Coordinate and supervise service contractors, vendors, and rig personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Review contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Resolve operational challenges, equipment failures, and crew-related issues promptly.
• Ensure availability and proper use of completion equipment such as coiled tubing units, wireline and perforation tools, fracturing pumps, and sand control equipment.
• Manage logistics for proppants, chemicals, and wellhead components.
• Optimize equipment utilization to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Well Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor real-time well data, pressure readings, and completion parameters.
• Troubleshoot issues like sand production, formation damage, or flowback affecting production.
• Collaborate with engineers and geologists to optimize completion strategies.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily completion reports, equipment logs, and safety records.
• Provide detailed post-job analyses and recommendations for future operations.
