We are seeking a skilled and motivated Driver-cum-Salesman to join our growing FMCG distribution team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a sales van, achieving daily/weekly sales targets, expanding market reach, and ensuring excellent customer service across assigned routes. If you have strong experience in FMCG van sales and a passion for customer engagement, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Delivery
- Drive the company’s FMCG sales van through assigned routes across Qatar.
- Promote, sell, and deliver products to retail shops, groceries, mini markets, and other outlets.
- Ensure proper product display, merchandising, and stock rotation at customer locations.
Stock Handling & Documentation
- Manage, load, and unload daily stock from the sales van.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, returns, and stock levels.
- Collect customer payments and ensure timely submission to the accounts department.
- Prepare daily sales reports, invoices, and delivery notes with accuracy.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Address customer needs, complaints, or feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify new sales opportunities and potential clients along the route.
Market Knowledge & Performance
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge—especially if familiar with fish & seafood items (an added advantage).
Requirements:
- Valid Qatar Driving Licence (Light/Medium as required for FMCG vans).
- Proven experience in FMCG van sales or outdoor sales.
- Excellent knowledge of Qatar road networks and routes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Experience with seafood or chilled products is a plus.
- Transferable visa with NOC (preferred).
- Must be able to join immediately.
