Job Summary

Metro Moves LLC is seeking dedicated and reliable NEMT Drivers to join our growing team. In this rewarding role, you will provide door-to-door transportation for clients traveling to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. You’ll operate company-provided vehicles designed for passenger comfort and safety, helping individuals maintain their independence while ensuring timely and secure transport. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-provided NEMT vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide courteous, professional assistance to passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, including individuals with mobility challenges or assistive devices.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate records and reporting any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Keep vehicles clean, sanitized, and organized at all times to ensure passenger comfort and safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, healthcare facilities, and team members to coordinate timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage reports, and required documentation using company systems or mobile applications.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
• Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA standards when handling client information.
• Follow company emergency and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia Driver’s License with a clean driving record (minimum of 3 years preferred).
• At least 21 years of age.
• Previous experience in NEMT, paratransit, delivery, school bus, or shuttle driving is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely assist passengers with mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs, etc.).
• Knowledge of Richmond and Central Virginia roadways.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass background check, driving record review, and drug screening (per DMAS/Broker standards such as Modivcare).
• Professional, punctual, and customer-focused demeanor.
