Driver Operations Coordinator

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We’re hiring a Driver Operations Coordinator to support a team of professional drivers and help keep freight moving safely and on time. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for a group of drivers, helping coordinate schedules, monitor shipments, and resolve issues quickly to keep freight moving safely and on time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and managing fast-paced operations. Candidates with experience in customer service, dispatch, logistics, call centers, or transportation often thrive in this role.

  • Serve as the primary contact for a group of drivers, providing daily communication and support.
  • Monitor driver schedules and deliveries to ensure freight moves on time and safely.
  • Coordinate driver home time, schedules, and time-off requests.
  • Work closely with dispatch, planning, and maintenance teams.
  • Help resolve delivery delays or operational issues quickly.
  • Maintain driver records and update company systems.
  • Ensure drivers complete required paperwork and follow company procedures.
  • Support safety and compliance efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with drivers through regular communication and check-ins.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and tracking information.
  • Experience in transportation or logistics, dispatch or fleet operations, or in customer service/call center roles.
  • Knowledge and experience in data entry, Microsoft Office, and general computer tasks.
  • High school diploma or GED.
