Drupal Developer

Job Description:

VIION Technology (A Viper Group company) is looking to hire a Drupal Developer to design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including Drupal theming, custom module development, site integrations, and ongoing maintenance and security updates.

Drupal Developer Responsibilities:

• Experience or knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe XD, converting PSD/XD designs to HTML, and Drupal theming.
• Help in developing fully functional Drupal websites based on business requirements and strict specifications.
• Assist in designing the website front-end using Drupal themes.
• Help in creating and maintaining website architecture using Drupal best practices.
• Customize Drupal themes and modules according to project requirements.
• Design and manage the website back-end, including database and server integration.
• Experience writing PHP code, custom Drupal modules, and SQL queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Develop and extend custom Drupal modules and themes.
• Experience with Drupal configuration management, content types, views, and permissions.
• Web-hosting and Drupal deployment management is a plus.
• Conduct website performance and security tests.
• Troubleshoot content, configuration, and performance issues.
• Monitor the performance and health of live Drupal websites.
• Perform Drupal core and module updates, including security patches.

Drupal Developer Requirements:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Flexible and able to deal with frequently changing requirements.
• Good understanding of website architecture, UX, and UI aesthetics.
• Familiarity with Drupal 8/9/10 (Drupal 11 is a plus).
• Understanding of security best practices in Drupal.
