We are currently developing a state-of-the-art polymer manufacturing plant in Sohar, designed to be one of the largest and most technologically advanced facilities in the region. We are looking for motivated and reliable candidates to join our growing team and support the safe and efficient operation of this new facility.

Position Summary

The Drying Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the drying process, including controlling drying temperature, adjusting material feed volume, cleaning fluidized bed equipment, and ensuring safe, stable, and compliant operations in accordance with established procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure drying temperature and material feed volume meet approved process requirements at all times.
• Operate, clean, and perform basic maintenance on drying equipment, including fluidized bed systems.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and strictly follow safety protocols during all operations.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely operational records and perform proper shift handovers to ensure continuity of work.
• Complete additional tasks and assignments as directed by workshop or department leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or above.
• Completion of training in safety management, workshop management, and 6S principles.
• Strong attention to detail and operational precision.
• High level of discipline, accountability, and responsibility.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and consistent adherence to safety procedures.
• Reliable, professional, and able to execute procedures accurately and consistently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Language Requirement

English Level: A2 (Basic Operational English)

• Ability to understand and use everyday expressions related to work tasks.
• Ability to communicate basic operational issues using simple words and phrases.
• Ability to read basic work instructions with the support of diagrams or visual aids.

Other Information

• Work Environment: Indoor / Outdoor production areas
• Work Schedule: Rotating shifts (3 days on / 2 days off)
