Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries and uphold safety standards. This position focus on efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials or debris efficiently.
• Follow designated routes driving safely across urban, rural, or construction sites while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and inspection reports in compliance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules or any logistical issues.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with dump trucks.
• Strong knowledge of route planning and driving regulations across different regions.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws; experience with manual transmission preferred.
• Ability to perform routine truck maintenance inspections and basic repairs when necessary.
