Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Follow designated routes accurately while complying with traffic laws and company policies
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning of brakes, lights, tires, and hydraulic systems
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly
• Assist with securing loads and ensuring cargo is safely transported without damage or spillage

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles
• Knowledge of manual transmission operation
• Familiarity with route driving, freight handling, and safety regulations related to commercial trucking
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation compliance
