Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and safety protocols will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction; hauling asphalt and/or crush and run with a company committed to excellence and growth. Two years of CDL class B license and clean motor vehicle record required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks, flatbeds, or tanker trucks to transport materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload materials with precision, ensuring secure and balanced cargo for safe transit.
• Follow designated routes and schedules diligently, adjusting as needed for traffic or site conditions.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including proper handling of refrigerated trailers or specialized equipment like forklifts when necessary.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks or tractor-trailers.
• Knowledge of manual transmission operation preferred.
• Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when required.
• Strong understanding of route driving, safety protocols, and transportation regulations.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform vehicle inspections regularly. Join us in delivering essential materials safely and efficiently!
