Duty doctor

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and clinical-competent Duty Doctors to join our medical team at Miracle Women and Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing continuous medical coverage, managing patient care in wards, and responding to emergencies. You will work closely with our consultants to ensure the highest standards of care for our mothers and little ones.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Management: Conduct regular rounds in the Labor Room, NICU, PICU, and General Wards.
• Clinical Support: Monitor patient progress, record vitals, and execute treatment plans as prescribed by Senior Consultants.
• Emergency Care: Act as the first responder for medical emergencies, including neonatal resuscitation or obstetric complications.
• Procedures: Perform basic clinical procedures (IV cannulation, catheterization, Ryle’s tube insertion, etc.) as required.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR), discharge summaries, and daily progress notes.
• Coordination: Ensure smooth handovers between shifts and coordinate with the nursing staff and diagnostic departments.

Candidate Requirements Qualification

Minimum Experience Preferred Background

MBBS 1+ YearMultispecialty or Mother & Child care

B AMS / BHMS / BUMS 3+ YearsMultispecialty or Mother & Child care

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Technical: Proficiency in handling emergency cases and basic life support (BLS/ACLS/NALS).
• Clinical Knowledge: Strong grasp of Pediatric and Gynecological protocols.
• Communication: Ability to communicate with empathy and clarity to patients and their families.
• Availability: Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night duties and weekends.
• Registration: Must possess a valid registration with the respective Medical Council.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹32,077.05 - ₹45,893.58 per month
