Duty Medical Officer

• Direct Patient Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses, injuries, and acute conditions; conduct physical exams, prescribe medications, and perform procedures.
• Emergency Response: Act as the first responder to medical emergencies, providing immediate stabilization and care.
• Patient Monitoring: Continuously observe patients' vital signs and progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Shift Management: Oversee medical activities and ensure continuity of care during their shift.
• Teamwork: Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient management.
• Patient/Family Education: Inform patients and families about conditions, treatments, side effects, and health promotion.
• Medical Records: Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient histories, treatment notes, and test results, adhering to legal standards.
• Safety & Protocols: Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and quality of care standards.
