Position Summary

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer with strong expertise in customization, extensions, and AL development. This role is highly technical and focused on building, modifying, and optimizing Business Central environments to meet complex client requirements.

You will work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to deliver tailored ERP solutions. The ideal candidate has deep experience in Business Central architecture, customization patterns, and integration development, and can manage multiple client projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.

This is a remote, client-facing development role with a strong emphasis on clean architecture, scalability, and performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Central Development & Customization

• Develop and maintain AL extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Customize standard modules including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Warehousing
• Modify pages, reports, codeunits, tables, and workflows to meet client-specific needs
• Implement custom business logic following best practices and upgrade-safe development

Extensions & Upgrades

• Build per-tenant and AppSource-ready extensions
• Refactor legacy C/AL solutions into AL-based extensions
• Ensure compatibility with Business Central upgrades and version releases

Integration & APIs

• Develop integrations between Business Central and third-party platforms (CRM, e-commerce, payment gateways, logistics systems)
• Work with REST APIs, OData, and web services
• Implement middleware and Azure-based integrations where required

Reporting & Data Handling

• Design and customize RDLC and Word reports
• Support data migration, transformation, and validation processes
• Optimize performance for large datasets and transaction-heavy environments

Client Collaboration & Delivery

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Collaborate with functional consultants and project managers
• Participate in client meetings, demos, and technical discussions
• Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3–6+ years of Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV development
• Programming: Strong expertise in AL language and extension development
• Customization: Proven experience customizing core Business Central modules
• Integrations: Experience with APIs, OData, and third-party system integrations
• Reporting: Hands-on experience with RDLC and Word reports
• Tools: Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• Communication: Strong English communication skills for US-based client interaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating from NAV (C/AL) to Business Central (AL)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
• Experience with e-commerce integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
• Understanding of accounting and financial workflows
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications (preferred)
• Experience in consulting environments handling multiple parallel projects

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term engagement (3-month renewable cycles)
• Compensation: PKR 400,000 – 550,000 per month (net, after taxes) depending on experience and interview performance
• Client Base: US-based clients across multiple industries
• Work Setup: Fully remote
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday with partial EST overlap required
