E-commerce Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic E-Commerce Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our online sales platforms, enhancing the customer shopping experience, and driving sales through effective merchandising and product promotion. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in retail sales, and a passion for e-commerce.

Duties

• Manage daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring product listings are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct product demos and create engaging content to promote products online.
• Utilize POS systems for order processing and inventory management.
• Join a team of associates to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
• Assist customers with inquiries via phone or online chat, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Support upselling initiatives by providing customers with tailored recommendations based on their needs.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with stocking shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
• Analyze retail math data to assess sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or e-commerce is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer interaction.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is a plus.
• Supervising experience in a retail environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail math is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
