Big Shiny Balls is a fast-growing, design-driven e-commerce brand specializing in oversized inflatables, holiday décor, and custom products. We’re looking for a hands-on E-Commerce Coordinator to support day-to-day operations, custom projects, and performance optimization across our DTC business.

E-Commerce & Shopify Operations

  • Manage and maintain the Shopify backend (products, inventory, collections, tags, pricing)
  • Create and manage product bundles, kits, and limited-edition offerings
  • Support custom projects and special orders from setup through fulfillment
  • Assist with product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns

Order Management, Shipping & Customer Experience

  • Oversee daily order flow to ensure accurate, on-time fulfillment
  • Coordinate with shipping partners and fulfillment teams
  • Troubleshoot shipping issues, delays, address errors, and damaged or lost packages
  • Handle customer service inquiries (order status, returns, exchanges, setup questions)

Affiliate & Program Support

  • Assist with affiliate program management, tracking, and coordination
  • Help onboard affiliates and support ongoing program execution

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, and product performance
  • Report on product and bundle performance, identifying trends and opportunities
  • Provide insights to marketing and operations teams to support merchandising and site optimization decisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with creative, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the site reflects current products, promotions, and content
  • Act as a liaison between e-commerce and other departments to support smooth communication and project execution
  • Support additional projects and operational needs as assigned

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce, DTC operations, or a related role
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify (required)
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, conversion optimization, and merchandising
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong written communication skills and customer-first mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led environment
  • Experience with shipping, fulfillment, or affiliate platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools to improve efficiency, reporting, or workflows is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3,500.00 - $7,200.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
