Role Summary

The Data Analyst Manager supports Chai Vision's growing e-commerce and marketplace operations across Amazon and other international platforms. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and reporting data to help business stakeholders make informed decisions — from building clear dashboards and tracking performance metrics to identifying trends and improving operational and commercial efficiency through data-driven insights.

As part of the International Markets team, the Data Analyst Manager ensures that backend data flows are accurate, reporting cycles are met on time, and leadership has the visibility it needs to drive growth across EMEA, APAC, and beyond. This is a hands-on role that blends data entry precision with analytical depth, making it central to how Chai Vision scales its international operations.

What You'll Do

Data Entry & Systems Management

  • Fetch data from various sources and ensure company systems and databases are kept up to date at all times
  • Maintain accurate product data across systems with an error rate target of less than 2%
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across all platforms; identify issues and implement fixes proactively

Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards for Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing departments
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting cycles with 100% SLA adherence
  • Drive improved visibility and adoption of dashboards and reports across teams

Marketplace Performance Analytics

  • Track key performance metrics including sales, traffic, conversion rates, inventory health, returns, and advertising performance
  • Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities in marketplace performance and operations
  • Provide actionable business insights leading to measurable outcomes such as improved conversion, reduced returns, and fewer stockouts

Ad Hoc Analysis & Process Optimization

  • Provide analytical support for projects, planning, forecasting, and manager-directed initiatives
  • Improve reporting efficiency by automating workflows using formulas, scripts, SQL, or BI tools — targeting a 40% reduction in manual reporting workload
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketplace operations, warehouse, finance, and marketing teams to support data-driven decision-making

Who You Are

  • You are a highly analytical, structured thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for turning raw data into actionable insights
  • You have 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence — ideally in an eCommerce or marketplace environment
  • You are advanced in Google Sheets / Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and dashboard creation
  • You are comfortable working with large datasets and translating complex data into clear, digestible reports for stakeholders
  • You have experience with Amazon Vendor Central / Seller Central reporting, retail analytics, or marketplace data
  • You are a strong communicator with solid written and verbal English skills, and you thrive working across time zones (aligned with EMEA/APAC operations)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, BI reporting, or eCommerce analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards)
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Familiarity with marketplace platforms (Amazon, eBay, or similar)
  • Bonus: Experience with SQL, Python, or data pipelines and automation
