The E-commerce Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's e-commerce websites and online marketplaces. This includes managing product listings, monitoring inventory, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer journey. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual with a strong understanding of online sales and digital marketing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website and Platform Management:
- Manage and update the company's e-commerce website, including product information, pricing, and content.
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and functions smoothly across all devices.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise on the platform.
- Manage product listings on various online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), ensuring accuracy and optimization.
- Sales and Order Management:
- Process online orders efficiently and accurately, from receipt to dispatch.
- Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Manage customer returns and exchanges in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Product and Inventory Management:
- Create and maintain detailed and engaging product listings with compelling descriptions and high-quality images.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking situations.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for stock replenishment.
- Digital Marketing and Promotion:
- Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), email marketing, and social media promotions.
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and provide reports to the management.
- Identify and implement strategies to increase website traffic and conversion rates.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.
- Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance for the management team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and email marketing platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO and SEM principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
