Role Overview
The E-Commerce Head will be responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing Svaraa’s digital business, ensuring seamless integration between online and offline channels. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional coordination — spanning marketing, ERP, CRM, logistics, website tech, and analytics — to drive revenue growth and deliver a world-class omnichannel experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. E-Commerce Growth & Strategy
Own P&L for the online business and drive consistent month-on-month growth.
Develop and execute a data-driven e-commerce strategy aligned with brand goals and offline retail initiatives.
Plan and execute festive, campaign, and product-specific promotions across the website and marketplaces.
Build and manage D2C growth funnel — acquisition, conversion, retention, and repeat purchase metrics.
Define KPIs: website traffic, AOV, CAC, ROAS, CLTV, conversion rate, and return rate.
2. Omnichannel Integration
Lead Svaraa’s omnichannel transformation — connecting store inventory, CRM, website, and logistics.
Coordinate with ERP, tech, and retail teams for real-time stock sync, order fulfilment, and click-to-store / virtual appointment features.
Ensure unified customer experience across online, in-store, and WhatsApp commerce touchpoints.
3. Performance Marketing & SEO
Oversee and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and other digital platforms.
Manage SEO and content strategy to increase organic visibility and keyword rankings.
Work closely with marketing and creative teams to create compelling ad creatives, landing pages, and remarketing funnels.
Conduct A/B testing and continuous optimization for ads, CTAs, and audience segmentation.
4. Website & Technology Coordination
Coordinate with internal/external website development teams (Next.js / Medusa / Shopify / custom ERP integrations) for stability, UI/UX improvement, and feature enhancements.
Monitor site performance, conversion funnels, bugs, and analytics dashboards.
Implement best practices in UX, speed optimization, and mobile-first design.
5. Cross-Department Collaboration
Collaborate closely with marketing, CRM, retail, logistics, and accounts teams.
Integrate data across departments for unified reporting and insights (Zoho, Google Analytics, Meta, ERP).
Support content and creative planning for online launches, campaigns, and influencer tie-ups.
6. Data Analytics & Reporting
Build dashboards to track KPIs across traffic sources, conversions, revenue, and marketing ROI.
Present weekly and monthly reports to management on performance and next steps.
Leverage insights for continuous funnel optimization and new growth experiments.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing E-Commerce operations, growth marketing, or D2C business (jewellery / fashion / lifestyle preferred).
Strong understanding of:
Digital marketing tools: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Analytics, SEO, Shopify / Medusa / Magento.
CRM & ERP systems and data integration workflows.
Omnichannel retail models and performance analytics.
Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in campaign optimization and funnel conversion.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with passion to scale a premium Indian brand.
