The Opportunity
Christmas Place is a 40-year Christmas retail brand with two physical locations and a growing ecommerce presence across Shopify and Amazon. We are seeking a proven Ecommerce Manager to own our digital channel completely - strategy, execution, performance, and growth - without day-to-day direction from leadership.
This role is based in our store office and is not available on a remote or hybrid basis. You will be the single accountable owner of our online business.
Core Responsibilities
- Shopify Store Management: Own and manage the Shopify storefront - product listings, pricing, promotions, checkout optimization, and app integrations.
- Amazon Marketplace: Manage and grow Amazon Seller Central - listings, A+ content, campaigns, Buy Box strategy, and account health.
- Digital Marketing: Plan and execute email marketing, paid social, SEO, and retargeting - setting strategy and owning measurable outcomes.
- Merchandising & Catalog: Own the product catalog across all channels - pricing, bundles, seasonal promotions, and inventory sync.
- Analytics & Reporting: Build and maintain performance dashboards. Report weekly on revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and CAC.
- Customer Experience: Oversee the full post-purchase experience - fulfillment accuracy, returns, reviews, and customer communication.
- Contractor Management: Brief, manage, and QA any freelancers or contractors. You direct their output.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years hands-on ecommerce experience managing both Shopify and Amazon independently
- Verifiable track record of revenue growth - be prepared to walk through specific decisions and measurable results
- Deep Shopify proficiency: theme customization, Liquid basics, app ecosystem, Shopify Analytics
- Amazon Seller Central expertise: listing optimization, account health compliance
- Fluency with GA4 and reporting tools
- Working knowledge of Klayviyo or equivalent ESP - flows, segmentation
- Commercial judgment: you make budget decisions like it is your own money
- Complete self-direction: you identify current needs and execute without being asked
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer goods or physical product retail
- Familiarity with loyalty programs, subscription models, or bundle mechanics
- Google Shopping campaign management and product feed optimization
- Prior single-contributor role with full channel P&L ownership
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
