House of Harley-Davidson is seeking a detail-oriented E-Commerce Operations & Marketplace Specialist to manage the daily operations of our online sales channels. This role is essential to maintaining accurate product listings, consistent inventory levels, and efficient order fulfillment across our Shopify website and marketplace platforms, including Amazon and eBay.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong data management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments including Parts, Warehouse, Marketing, and Customer Service.

Core Responsibilities

Daily E-Commerce Maintenance & Product Listings

  • Execute daily updates to the Shopify website and product catalog as directed by management
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of all product listings including titles, descriptions, images, and categories
  • Perform bulk data updates and corrections using CSV files and data management tools
  • Monitor website health, identify technical errors, and verify accuracy of pricing and inventory visibility
  • Ensure all product listings comply with Harley-Davidson brand standards and company guidelines

Marketplace Coordination (Amazon, eBay, etc.)

  • Manage existing product listings and attributes across all approved online marketplace platforms
  • Verify inventory synchronization between Shopify and marketplace platforms and resolve any conflicts
  • Monitor marketplace performance metrics and address suppressed listings or platform warnings promptly
  • Set up new product listings based on information provided by Parts and Marketing departments

Data Entry & Inventory Management

  • Accurately input and update product pricing, cost structures, and availability information
  • Collaborate closely with Parts and Apparel departments to ensure product descriptions and fitment data are correct
  • Maintain accurate inventory tracking and availability status including in-stock, backorder, and discontinued items

Order Fulfillment & Customer Support

  • Monitor online order flow and troubleshoot fulfillment issues including payment processing, routing, and inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate workflows between Shopify and shipping systems (e.g., ShipStation) used by the warehouse team
  • Support Customer Service by investigating order status inquiries, delivery delays, and listing discrepancies

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Communicate daily with Warehouse, Parts, and Customer Service teams to resolve listing errors and inventory issues
  • Support Marketing team by preparing and updating product content for seasonal promotions and campaigns
  • Document recurring issues clearly and escalate technical or complex data needs to management

Performance Monitoring

  • Collect and report basic performance data for weekly management reviews including listing errors, order cancellations, and website traffic
  • Identify recurring process problems and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

  • E-commerce platform experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
  • Marketplace knowledge: Demonstrated experience managing product listings on Amazon, eBay, or similar online marketplaces
  • Technical proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation; experience with CSV file imports/exports
  • Attention to detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and quality control with ability to identify and correct errors quickly
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to collaborate across multiple departments
  • Problem-solving ability: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues and process inefficiencies
  • Time management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ShipStation or similar order management and shipping software
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software
  • Familiarity with motorcycle parts, accessories, or automotive product categories
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and product listing optimization

Work Schedule

  • Schedule: Full-time day shift, Monday through Friday
  • Flexibility: Occasional flexibility required during peak seasons or promotional periods
