The E-Commerce Sales Specialist is responsible for managing and driving online sales of used cars through various digital platforms and requires a tech-savvy individual with a strong understanding of e-commerce, online marketing, and sales strategies. This job is responsible for optimising the online customer experience, developing, and implementing sales initiatives, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of online used car sales, from listing vehicles to closing sales.

Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and meet or exceed sales targets.

Monitor online sales performance, analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Maintain and optimise the e-commerce website and other online sales platforms to ensure a userfriendly and efficient customer experience.

Collaborate with IT and web development teams to implement website enhancements and troubleshoot any issues.

Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, to drive traffic and increase online sales.

Create and manage high-quality content, including vehicle descriptions, images, and videos, to attract and engage potential buyers.

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the online sales process, from initial inquiries to post-sale follow-ups.

Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate and up-to-date listings of available used vehicles.

Implement effective pricing strategies to remain competitive in the online market while achieving profitability.

Continuously evaluate and improve the online sales process to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline the online car-buying experience.

Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Analyse market data and customer insights to make informed decisions and develop targeted sales initiatives.

Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, sales volume, and customer satisfaction.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management to guide strategic decision-making.

Ensure all online sales activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions to ensure transparency and accountability.

Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Represent the online sales function in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce sales, preferably in the automotive industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field is preferred.

Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online sales strategies.
