Job Opening: ECCD Trainer

Bala Mandir Kamaraj Trust is looking for an Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Trainer to strengthen the quality of early childhood education across its units.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and mentor teachers and caregivers on child development and play-based learning.
• Support implementation of age-appropriate, child-centred ECCD practices.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide on-site guidance.
• Assist in developing ECCD training modules and low-cost teaching-learning materials.
• Ensure adherence to child protection and inclusive education practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, ECCD, Montessori, or Education..
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in ECCD teaching or training.
• Experience working with NGOs or child care institutions preferred.

Skills

• Strong training and facilitation skills.
• Good observation, mentoring, and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel within Chennai/field locations.
