Early Childhood Educator

PSH is a vibrant and nurturing Reggio inspired Preschool committed to providing a stimulating and engaging learning environment for young children. We focus on fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities.

We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as Preschool Teachers for our 2 and 3-year-old classrooms. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff and parents.

We’re looking for professionals who:

• Value creativity, child-led learning, and hands-on experiences.

• Are loving, friendly and outgoing Individuals with a positive attitude.
• Possess a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
• Have a Previous experience working with preschool-aged children - knowledge of Reggio Emilia approach is a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Foster creativity and critical thinking through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Manage daily routines effectively, ensuring a balance between structured activities and free/discovery play.
• Encourage positive behavior and provide gentle guidance when needed.
• Recognize and respond to the diverse needs of each child in the classroom.
• Ensure that children are properly cared for and supervised at all times.
• Keep classroom, equipment and toys organized, clean and sanitized.
• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, assistants, and staff to create a cohesive and positive team environment.
• Ensure Licensing, Local and School rules and policies are properly followed.
• Carry out any potential additional tasks assigned by the administrative office.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
