Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance cognitive, motor, language, and social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs, and support child welfare initiatives.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, safe, and stimulating learning space.
- Incorporate specialized approaches such as Montessori methods or inclusive strategies for children with special education needs or early intervention requirements.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Support children’s physical activity through teaching physical education and facilitating active play sessions.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience with curriculum development across core areas including literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Familiarity with special education techniques and early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Classroom management expertise to create a positive learning environment conducive to growth and exploration.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate innovative teaching methods like Montessori or other child-centered approaches.
- Prior experience with standardized testing procedures and tutoring for young learners is a plus.
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
