Early Childhood Teacher

Education

The ideal candidate should have relevant educational experience, a sincere commitment to nurturing young children, and meet one of the following educational qualifications: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or 60 college credits including 6 in Early Childhood Education (ECE).

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development.
  • Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Support children’s social-emotional well-being through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Collaborate with families, specialists in special education and early intervention programs to support individual learning needs.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to Montessori methods, toddler care, preschool experience, and childcare best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing standards and school policies.

  • Experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.

  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and Montessori principles.
  • Familiarity with childcare regulations, daycare standards, private school environments, and classroom experience requirements.
  • Competence in behavior management techniques to support child welfare and emotional regulation.
  • Skills in tutoring or teaching physical education to promote healthy development.
