Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood education, literacy, math, and physical activities aligned with developmental milestones
  • Foster a nurturing environment by providing attentive toddler care and supporting children’s social-emotional well-being
  • Manage classroom activities effectively through strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
  • Support children with special education needs and participate in early intervention programs to ensure inclusive learning experiences
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles or other educational frameworks
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
  • Ensure compliance with child welfare standards, health protocols, and safety regulations at all times

Skills

  • Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices, including toddler care and special education strategies
  • Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math instruction, and tutoring methods suitable for young learners
  • Experience with classroom experience involving standardized testing or assessments to track developmental progress
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches for diverse learners using Montessori or other instructional methods
  • Knowledge of early intervention programs and child welfare best practices to support holistic child development

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
