We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate E-commerce Specialist with proven experience in the luxury goods sector, specifically fine jewellery. You will be the owner of our end-to-end online store, responsible for managing both the front-end customer journey and the back-end operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving online sales, enhancing our brand's digital aura, and providing a flawless experience for our prestigious customers.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End E-commerce Management:
- Serve as the primary administrator for our e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce).
- Manage the entire product lifecycle online, from uploading new collections with compelling copy and high-resolution imagery to managing inventory levels and product variants.
- Oversee the complete order fulfillment process, ensuring a seamless handover from online purchase to delivery, coordinating with logistics and fulfilment partners.
Front-End Excellence & UX:
- Curate and optimize the online storefront to reflect the luxury and exclusivity of our brand.
- Ensure a visually stunning, intuitive, and mobile-responsive user experience that guides the customer effortlessly from discovery to purchase.
- Implement and manage a content strategy that tells our brand story and showcases the artistry of our jewellery.
Back-End Operations & Analytics:
- Manage platform configurations, payment gateways, shipping rules, tax settings, and all third-party app integrations.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure speed, functionality, and security.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, AOV, traffic, and customer acquisition cost.
- Use data analytics (from Google Analytics, platform dashboards) to generate insights and report on performance, making data-driven recommendations for growth.
Luxury Customer Journey & CRM:
- Develop and implement strategies that enhance the unboxing experience and post-purchase engagement, befitting a luxury brand.
- Work with CRM tools to help manage customer communication and loyalty programs, ensuring a personal touch.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications & Experience)
- 3-5 years of proven experience as an E-commerce Specialist, with a verifiable portfolio of managing successful online stores for luxury brands.
- Specific, hands-on experience in the fine jewellery or high-end watch sector is essential.
- Expert-level proficiency in a major e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento). Please specify your platform expertise in your application.
- A deep understanding of the luxury consumer mindset and what drives purchasing decisions in a high-value, high-trust environment.
- Strong technical aptitude to manage back-end operations and troubleshoot issues.
- An impeccable eye for design, aesthetics, and detail, with the ability to curate a premium visual experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly Preferred:
- Experience with professional photography and video direction for luxury products.
- Knowledge of luxury-specific logistics, insurance, and packaging requirements.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for customizing storefronts.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 and other digital marketing analytics tools.
