Education Quality And Professional Development Assistant

The Role
The Role This is a dynamic and impactful role focused on supporting education settings to improve quality and enhance professional practice. You will assist in developing and delivering training materials, writing articles and support resources, and providing operational guidance to managers and leaders. This position is ideal for someone with previous experience in education who understands quality standards, leadership challenges, and continuous improvement in educational environments. Key Responsibilities Professional Development Support • Assist in the development and coordination of training courses and workshops • Prepare course materials, presentations, handouts, and follow-up resources • Support the delivery and evaluation of professional development programmes Content & Resource Development • Research and write articles on educational practice, leadership, and quality improvement • Develop guidance documents, toolkits, and support materials for education settings • Create practical resources to support staff development and compliance Quality Improvement Support • Support education settings in strengthening their provision and improving outcomes • Assist in reviewing policies, procedures, and operational systems • Provide practical tools and documentation to help settings meet quality standards • Support managers and leaders with day-to-day operational guidance Administrative & Consultancy Support • Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and consultancy visits • Maintain accurate records and documentation • Assist with client communication and follow-up actions

Requirements
  • Previous experience working within education (school, nursery, college, or education support setting) • Strong understanding of quality improvement and professional standards in education • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce professional articles and guidance materials • Highly organised with strong attention to detail • Confident supporting leaders and managers in professional settings • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital platforms Desirable • Experience supporting training delivery or CPD programmes • Knowledge of inspection frameworks or quality assurance processes • Experience in leadership support or educational operations
