EHS Officer

Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of customized tubular sections (shaped tubes) and profiles in India. With over 40 years of experience in shaping sheet metal and growing business opportunities across the country, the decades-old standard ERW steel tube and simple roll-formed profile manufacturing facility has evolved to manufacture customized steel tubes.Today, they operate at four different locations in Bangalore. These facilities include machines for roll forming, bending, laser cutting (2D, tube, and robotic), and powder coating.

They manufacture parts for industries such as Automotive, Construction Equipment, Elevators, Racking (Storage & Electric), Safety, Textile Machinery, Furniture, and others.

They specialize in the localisation of roll-formed (straight and bent) components and are also a source of global supplies to leading OEMs.

Roles and Responsibility:1. Ensure compliance with statutory and company EHS policies, procedures, and

regulations.

• Identify and assess hazards and risks, and implement control measures to mitigate them.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments of the workplace and
  
  

facilities.

• Organize and conduct EHS training and awareness programs for employees and
  
  

contractors.

• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend
  
  

corrective and preventive actions.

• Prepare and maintain EHS-related documents as per legal requirements.
• Facilitate periodic fire drills, emergency preparedness drills, and evacuation plans.
• Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental protection measures.
• Coordinate with statutory authorities for inspections, renewals, and compliance
  
  

reporting.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS performance.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and statutory requirements
• Ability to conduct training and motivate employees on safety practices.
• Willingness to travel to different plant sites or project locations (if required)
• Leadership: ability to influence and drive safety culture across teams.
• Proactive Approach: Ability to anticipate risks and take preventive actions before issues arise.
• Attention to detail: careful and through in identifying hazards and ensuring compliance.
  
  

Qualification

• BE/Diploma in Industrial Safety(Certificates on RLI, CLI, IIISM must and should)
• Experience: Minimum 04 to 08 Maximum.
• Desired age: 25 to 35
