• Rotation: 28/28 days on/off.
• Salary: 15’991 USD/EUR consolidated monthly.
• Duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Contract Start: TBC (ASAP).
• Insurances: Provided by the company.
• Employer: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Proven offshore electrical experience on drilling units or similar heavy industrial installations.
• Strong knowledge of power generation, high-voltage distribution, and protection systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLC-based control and automation systems.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in technical teams.
• Experience with large rotating equipment, VFDs, and integrated control systems.
• Familiarity with hazardous area (Ex) standards and offshore safety compliance.
• Ability to manage electrical scopes during maintenance campaigns or yard periods.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Relevant electrical certification and valid offshore training.

Tasks:

• Lead all vessel electrical and control system activities onboard the jack-up.
• Supervise maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault diagnostics of power and automation systems.
• Coordinate planned maintenance to minimize operational downtime.
• Oversee safe high-voltage switching and electrical isolations.
• Ensure reliability of jacking control systems and drilling equipment interfaces.
• Review and approve electrical work permits and risk assessments.
• Support rig upgrades, equipment modifications, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, drawings, and maintenance records.
• Liaise with onshore technical support and vendors when required.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
